I love this!!!!

I love chatting with other teachers, but we rarely discuss instructional methods especially if we teach in different departments. Last week, I ended up talking to my friend Emily, and she shared an awesome whiteboard activity. Students are working with a partner. A teacher poses a question or describes a word or gives a sentence to translate. The first student writes down their answer on the whiteboard then passes it to their partner. If the partner agrees, they hold it up. If it is incorrect, they pass it back. They cannot say anything, but they can circle the mistakes. Once their partner fixes it correctly, they hold up the board. Then the partners switch roles. This is such a great collaborative activity and a great way to use whiteboards. Thanks, Emily!
