Teach students the Spanish version of a “SMART” goal

As teachers, we are all familiar with writing SMART goals, goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely.
Goals and Reflection will be a driving focus for my higher level students this year. It will be a dedicated section in our journals as they learn to write strong goals, reflect on them, and write new goals based on their findings.
I designed a poster to help guide students in writing their goals and want to share it with anyone else interested in this venture. I followed the same concepts in the S.M.A.R.T acronym, but some seemed to lose meaning in translation. Instead, I will be using CALMA. Las metas se pueden Concretar, Atar al currículo, Lograr, y Medir A plazo fijo.
Get the poster here: CALMA poster The .pdf is a 9-page color poster that you can print in high-resolution, and it has the original image attached so that it can be printed professionally as well. Feel free to paste the image below in any class presentations. Enjoy! Let me know in the comments what you are doing to help students set goals.
